I'll be curious to see just how 'tarted up' this actually turns out to be, as graphically it was very poor considering it came out towards the later end of the 360s life.

It would be nice to have all of the patches and content that the PC users got thrown at them.

I wasn't sure if SMT games warranted their own thread but I think this is a pretty interesting topic. Persona 4, which has gotten two fighting games, and etrian oddyssey style RPG and now a rythmn action game. Dancing All Night might end up causing a big stir among the fanbase. Arguements have arisen since the original game abiut Kanji Tatsumi and Naoto Shirogane, the former inspired arguments as to whether or not he is gay, the later as to whether she is transgender. The playable girls with the exception of Nanako have hotter and sexier outfits. Rise has a sexy idol schoolgirl look. Chie has unzipped her jacket to show off some cleavage. Yukiko has ditched her proper tights so she can show off her gams. Naoto has stopped binding her chest and has a couple of buttons undone on her shirt. Seemingly accepting of her femininity. Now knowing crazy people on the interwebs. I can see Atlus getting accused of all sorts. Heck they probably did when Naoto was made a romance option and you could convince her to wear a girls school uniform on your Christmas eve date. I will at least get plenty of lulz from people who take these things way too seriously.

I've been watching a few videos about The Division, and I'm starting to get kinda excited about it. There are still a few things about it that make me roll my eyes, but hey, what did you expect? It's a Tom Clancy game after all!
Anyway, it's in pre-alpha testing at the moment so we can't be sure that anything we hear will necessarily make it into the final cut, but there are a few things that have been impressive from what what I have seen.
1) Graphics and detail looks really good, though that footage so far isn't like live gameplay footage. Ubi are kinda notorious for that.
2) Squads. Four player groups + 1 companion app. I suppose that isn't particularly impressive but I always like the idea of teaming up in shooters.
3) Dark Zones. Not to be confused with Destiny's Darkness Zones, these areas are optional locations that you won't accidentally stumble into. In these zones, PvP is green, though it may be possible to form alliances with other squads. Rumoured that there could be up to 100 players in a dark zone. In the dark zone you can find nifty weapons but you have to successfully extract to keep them. When you try to extract you have to hold your position for some time whilst all other players are alerted to you trying to extract.

However there are some things I am wary of which will stop me doing a full Bamozzy.

1) Looks very much like an online only, which means a successful launch is critical to its success.
2) Graphics we've seen are not necessarily a true representation, as we've seen before with Ubi.
3) Ubi. They don't have the greatest rep at the moment following their ventures into the new generation, especially when it comes to bug testing.

Hopefully they might show something at E3, as the game is still slated for release this year.

I am also really excited for The Division. I think the gameplay they showed at the Xbox conference was confirmed to be on the One so it should be close to that at launch though I have no doubt it will not be as good as they do link to start high and get lower the closer they get to launch

Totally agree with what Max and Tim have said here, it's been on my pre order list for almost a year I think but there's a lot that could do wrong. I think one thing which will be critical is how much content and, more importantly, how much variety there is within that content before you need to start investing more money.

I want The Darkness 3, loved the first 2 and I haven't heard anything about it which sucks. The second ended on such a cliffhanger but I did read a while back that Digital Extremes were hiring.. but that was more than 2 years ago..

I've seen some footage of a previously in development Alan Wake 2. Not sure how old the footage is so maybe it leaked ages ago. Apparently some of it made it's way into Alan Wake American Nightmare but Remedy aren't against looking at a fully fledged sequel.

I'm not actually sure it requires a sequel. I loved the first game and enjoyed American Nightmare but I'm not sure it requires another visit.

Hopefully Quantum Break is a success that can build on Alan Wake.

Another Darkness might be interesting. Both games were very good. Wasn't the biggest fan of the cell shading in 2 though

So apparantly Telltale are teaming up with Marvel for projects releasing in 2017. I'll be very happy if what they produced ties in with the MCU. I'm thinking maybe something Shield based would fit in best with their style, perhaps someone going undercover so having to balance loyalties and whatnot.
