What are you playing?
That's 5hrs put into Outer Worlds, seems good so far. It's very Fallout-y, except it actually looks good(!)

Surprising focus on humour too, albeit a fair bit of pathos.
Played a few hours as well - free from day one, and a really fun game so far. The RPG elements and mass killing of most things which move is well handled also.
Finished Outer Worlds. Quite fun, funny in parts, and, for a game from Obsidian, surprisingly few bugs! Not the best combat but certainly no worse than the Fallout games.
Achievement trackers are utterly broken though!

Ugh. Was planning to start The Outer Worlds tomorrow and this is off putting.
I always try to make time for some horror games around Halloween, or at the very least a 1 millionth Resident Evil 4 run, though this year that fell by the wayside in favour of a couple of spooky new releases.

I’m actually finding MediEvil to be a lot of fun. It’s kinda like Knack in that it’s slightly janky and harder than it needs to be, but if you can put aside the “kiddie game” mindset and embrace it there’s satisfaction to be had. Kooky characters and aesthetic are endearing in the same way as something like Overlord or Fable.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is the other game, but rather than actually playing that I dug out the 3DS and played the original two... I’m a big fan of haunted houses and so I’m naturally a sucker for the series. The original is a little rough now (its controls especially), though the sequel holds up well. Both make good use of 3D and actually still look decent - not as jarring a downgrade as you’d think after getting used to Switch.
Liam went hands-on with Boundary at a recent press event.

Got about a good 20 hours into The Outer Worlds so far. Really enjoying it, it's like Futurama meets Fallout, without the all the bugs New Vegas had.

The dialogue can be unexpectedly savage at times, making for a fair few humourous exchanges.

Gunplay isn't the best, but it's not much different to Fallout.

Not far into the main story yet, so I can't comment on that, but the side quests I've done don't seem too interesting. There not terrible, just bland and samey.
