Most reviews seem fairly positive for this. Hopefully should get my order tomorrow. Looking forward to it!

James has a review copy, so we should have a review out soonish.

I think I'm passing on it like I did Future Soldier; the move away from the excellent G.R.A.W. series saw me rapidly lose interest in Ghost Recon.

Future Soldier was decent but nothing compared to GRAW.

Wildlands is playable now but I'll probably not have a chance to play until Wednesday.

GRAW was great but the original Ghost Recon games were even better! Similar to Operation Flashpoint, really difficult and tactical.

Ive said it many times, and hell, division is proof that the Tom Clancy name is enough to sell a new IP, so stop using the names of great franchises to sell new stuff thats completely different. Splinter Cell was hardcore stealth, its now a great Jason Bourne James Bond game, but crap stealth game, Ghost Recon has forgotten its tactical stealth roots, with only Rainbow Six similar but now multiplayer only.

I own them on PC, the original games. They hold up oddly well. I miss them so much Sad
...and if you tell that to the kids of today, they wont believe you!

Been years since played GRAW but do recall enjoyed it. One of the few games I tackled on hardest setting, so guess I must have!
Annoyingly my order not turned up yet. Last time I order directly from Ubisoft.

My last order direct from Ubisoft came 5 days early, so that's a pretty big difference!

James got sent an additional review copy for some reason, which he's passed on, so I am ending up with a copy now. We'll have to organise a co-op session.

Sounds good. If my copy ever turns up...

EDIT
Finally turned up! That map looking ridiculously large...

Unfortunately it is yet another Ubisoft disappointment for me. Technically, hugely impressive. Ridiculous sized map and looks great. Just a shame not huge mission variety, substandard vehicle handling and boring combat. Seriously - developers who still have instafail missions, timers etc?! Ugh.
Sure I will finish it one day but even the less than stellar scores of Andromeda sound superior to this rubbish.

James finished his review today, which should be published Wednesday (Liam's Verdun review is up first tomorrow), but the hour or so I've played of the finished game so far didn't do anything for me. Ditched it for now and gone back to Zelda on the Switch.
