100% Complete Games
Have you had any sleep or breaks from gaming at all over the last few days? Tongue

Don’t be fooled, they’re one and all very brief games with easy achievements, or bigger games that I left on the precipice of completion and finally got around to pushing over the edge.

It’s just more convenient for me to play short, easy games instead of getting involved with something more significant at the moment. On which note, there are plenty more to come, at least until I switch over to Resident Evil 2 and the steady stream of new releases thereafter.

Bulb Boy added. Disturbing adventure game that manages to be quite sweet at the same time as completely grotesque. Short, easy completion and well worth the £2 it’ll currently set you back on sale.

Contrast done. Was curious to try this with it being Compulsion Games’ only prior title to We Happy Few; much like that game its story, characters and setting are pretty strong and the unique gameplay conceit at the centre is interesting (switching dimensions here, versus managing your mood in WHF). It’s also just as glitchy and underdeveloped, though.

I can still see why Microsoft bought ‘em - with some money behind them to iron out the studio’s wrinkles, I think they’re capable of something special.

Just finished Serial Cleaner. Compulsive, Hotline Miami-type game where you clean up after murders, instead of committing them. Worth a look if challenging games with a strong case of “one more try” syndrome are your bag.

Went back and finished off South Park: The Stick of Truth after an initial playthrough when it launched five years(!) ago. It holds up. Had the sequel sat on my shelf since it came out and will get to it eventually.

Sped through the Xbox One version in a few hours to get a second completion on The Stick of Truth. Looks notably sharper, though glitches several achievements for the privilege, which can thankfully be fixed with some bizarre workarounds like farting five times or selling and buying back an item.

Went back and finished off the last few Evolve achievements solo with bots, since they shut the servers down late last year. Always enjoyed the game, real shame it crashed and burned, though that was largely their own fault with mounds of aggressive DLC from the start.

Makes for my 333rd Xbox completion and took my overall Gamerscore to 393,333. I’d drop 60,000 just for the novelty of it having randomly landed on all 3s, TBH.

Polished Strange Brigade off, as well as getting the achievements from the Photo Mode update.

Surprising myself with how many games I’ve shelved just shy of completion.

Went back and finished Ultimate Chicken Horse off. Not a bad party platformer and a quick, easy completion.
