I'd have to check my rarest on TA (and even then I don't think we're into brain-melting territory) but proudest of, probably Reach and Halo 4 Legendary solo. Most frustrating? Enslaved on hard mode. Most rewarding? Completing Bayonetta on normal. Most Satisfying goes to the above Reach ones while my favourite achievement is Lost to the Ages in one of the Skyrim expansions. Perfect mini-story quest capped by a generous reward.

well here it goes:
Extreme Soldier - Lost Planet - 150GS. TA points = 1161. Ratio = 7.74.
Complete All Scenario's - 2006 FIFA World Cup - 500GS. TA points = 1022. Ratio = 2.04
100 Million?!?! Gulp - Guitar Heros 3 - 30GS. TA points = 134. Ratio = 4.45
Game COmpleted Hard Boiled - Stranglehold - 70GS. Ta points = 314. Ratio = 4.48
Legend (Complete all campaigns on legendary) - Master Chief Collection - 50GS. TA points = 253. Ratio = 5.07
Defeated the grand enemy - Two Worlds - 370GS. TA points = 612. Ratio = 1.65
Defeat Razor - NFS Most Wanted - 350GS. TA points = 517. Ratio = 1.48
P1 v Nurburgring - Forza 5 - 20GS. TA points = 93. Ratio = 4.67
Killa (True skill rank of killa) - Saints Row - 20GS. TA points = 91. Ratio = 4.56
Grizzled Veteran - COD 3 - 150GS. TA points = 476. Ratio = 3.17

I think that is some of the best?? not really sure as I have no idea what TA score is or ratio?? Anyone fill me in and give me a bit more information?? Thanks in advance!

Addition: Two worlds is a great game and one of my favourite RPG's of last gen - i know most people think it was crap but I thaught it was better than both oblivion and Skyrim (im an ass i know)

The TA score is worked out using a formula (which I don't know, but can probably find out somewhere) using the amount of people who have earned an achievement compared to the amount of people on site who own it/have played it.

I think the example they use is that with standard gamerscore, that Avatar game that takes 5 minutes to 1k, is worth the same as something that takes 100 hours to 1k, and that's an unfair distribution of gamerscore. The TA score is supposedly more reflective of how difficult (or rare, I guess, would be a better word) the achievements you've worked for are. My actual gamerscore is 58,000 odd but according to TA it's about 84,000. Most of that is Project Spark, tbh, because hardly anyone plays it, not because it's really difficult to do.

So which are my "Best" or "Rarest" achivements? The ones with the highest TA score and not ratio?

My gamescore is: 66687 but according to TA it is: 101,013. Does that indicate i have quite a few difficult or high TA scoring achievements?

Thanks in advance

I'd say most of them just come with time. Apart from completing void storm without dying. I've accepted that I won't be able to do it until I have a level 20 champion.

The rarest have the highest ratio. The ones with the highest TA score are probably the hardest to get. However, like Hetty, most of my rarest/hardest come from Project Spark which a lot of people have played (due to it being free) but few of them have put enough time in to get the achievements, so it's a little bit skewed.

Edit: That last sentence is really clumsy but if you read it enough it sort of makes sense.

The rarest are the ones with the highest ratio. This is often because they are the hardest, but could be other reasons, such as grind-y or glitches or just because the game is so bad that people don't stick with it. DLC achievements also have a slightly different formula, so some can seem strangely high.
The ta score is affected by the gs, so a 10gs achievement with a ratio of 10 is worth the same as a 20gs one with a ratio of 5, or even a 100gs achievement with a ratio of 1.

Just checked my TA data and apparently Guitar Hero 3's Shredder achievement is the rarest in my collection by ratio (4.35). I'm not sure if that says more about me or about the game Confused

edit:

Most fun achievement now belongs to Zombie Chopper from HL2. Gravity gun + saw blades + exploding barrels x detachable whirling trap blades = uncontrollable fit o' the giggles

There's a 100G achievement in the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online called 'Emperor!', which tasks you to 'Dominate the Alliance War battlefield and become Emperor of Tamriel.'

What exactly does that require? In PvP your alliance must control all keeps at once and you must be the #1 player on your alliance's leaderboard. It's almost impossible, though if you can be one of the few to get it, it'll certainly take the spot of your most proud achievement.

I can't see many people getting that. It'll just be an elite few who do mainly PvP.
