How Xbox and Xbox Live were created

I will start off by saying that this links to another site so if that is against the rules then my bad, however it was a very interesting read (at least I thought so) and I thought that maybe some people here might agree with me.

They're both brilliant reads IMO, Tim! Thanks for sharing. Smile I remember when the first Xbox came out, I laughed. "Microsoft games console?!! That will never bloody take off!!" Oh how I have eaten those words. Smile I don't have much experience with other online platforms, but genuinely think Live is the best. Everything from layout to avatar to gamerscore. The only major downside is effing Bing. Wink

Seriously though, one of the things that holds me back from switching platforms is losing Live and my avatar & score. The avatar doesn't look much like me as I haven't had that hair style in years and the score is pretty lame, but they're mine - they ARE FadelessRipleyX. It's almost like a separate persona.
